Urban mobility globally needs solutions around decarbonization, decongestion, sustainability and last mile access. The entire EV policy of the government of India addresses only the energy dimension of mechanized urban transport - as of now. Diminishing spatial quality of habitats because of the growing number of vehicles on the roads has not been addressed cohesively - unless we can reduce the total number - the concept of livable cities may not be truly addressed - parking, congestion + dust PM10/2.5 pollution being key. Road space is limited by law - unless we think out of the box (elevated) - this inhibited mobility seriously limits the performance of cities, which contribute to >70% of national GDP.
Connected, autonomous, shared, electric + 'elevated' micro-mobility in fact truly represents the future of urban mobility in our view, which we are aiming to achieve. This helps reclaim useful road space for necessary zero / low carbon modes, otherwise marginalized.
The world is looking for alternative urban mobility systems. Many countries are experimenting with different visions of possible reality. Several initiatives are progressing across various countries - oriented towards similar concepts of geographically pervasive demand distributed on-demand supply, walk access + low CAPEX & low OPEX - some have achieved commercialization levels - others are in various stages of technology readiness levels.
-
Some fully developed systems that have been commercially deployed globally are at Heathrow Airport- ATS Ltd, Masdar City -2Getthere & Suncheon Bay Eco Park - Vectus - all are almost 2 decade old IPs.
-
Other almost ready systems are Glydways, Modutram, Metrino, Skybus etc
-
More systems under development are Urbanloop, Skytran which Reliance has invested in 2021 - to name a few.
Potential $31-58 bn investment gain opportunity - 1000X Shareholders Return
As per 3rd party research estimates, this family of urban transportation products is a 1000X capital gain opportunity globally. Read Full report (1000X refer Page 3)
Besides, a single project deployment of say 20Km built out of ~15M USD (~120 Cr INR) can recoup the product development costs in one shot.

We are building an Indian version of a pod taxi called AutoBots designed for 'developing countries', targeting ~50% CAPEX of the nearest competitor for equivalent energy + capacity efficiency.
AutoBots is a highly efficient pervasive 2 seat air conditioned 'city wide' transportation system taking passengers and goods to the last mile autonomously (Lvl 5) -all this without any 'batteries' for traction avoiding the battery conundrum entirely.
While the only fresh policy around mobility vehicles proposes change of clothes (IC engine to EV) it does not address urban congestion on roads. Congestion based Impacts on pollution & health are a global challenge. Besides ICE oriented challenges to energy security, balance of dollar payments and GHG emissions are more glaring than ever. After social distancing becoming the new normal...public / group transit has been a casualty. Private vehicles have resumed in full force making urban road congestion worse.
Cities need a new layer of elevated transportation channels carrying robotic pod taxis.
